From my initial contact with GDX through the end of the event every GDX staff member I spoke with was courteous, friendly and helpful. Our goal was to help the kids form new friendships and blend the two youth groups into one. At first glance, it appeared that everyone made at least one new friend. However, after observing the youth during the following weeks, it became obvious that our time at GDX provided the foundation for a closely-nit youth group, started nurmerous friendships and taught our teens how to work together as a team.
